║ OUT OF CHARACTER PERMISSIONS
▹ Backtagging: Yep! Even if it's been weeks, that's okay! RP happens when it can happen, y'know? Want to hit back that thread we had going a while back? Heck yeah, do it! No need to apologise or explain. I welcome every tag no matter how long it's been.
▹ Threadhopping: Unless it's a game network thread, nah.
▹ Fourthwalling: Nope
▹ Handwaving: I prefer not to handwave too much.
▹ Assumed cr: Go for it! But if we’ve never threaded before and/or I'm not familiar with your character (or if you're not familiar with Jesse!), let's chat a little first to establish a baseline dynamic between our characters. I am happy to handwave vague jam-jar settings to bypass working out crosscanon details, especially for casual/one-off threads.

║ RP + SHIPPING PREFERENCES
▹ Canon points I draw on for Jesse: Anywhere from season 1 to end of season 4. I find the final stretch of Jesse's character development beyond s4 to be pretty unenjoyably bleak to watch, let alone write; everything that happens to Jesse in season 5 verges on being gratuitously cruel just for the sake of having Walt ultimately win imo. 😓 What draws me to Jesse is everything he is before Walt completely, ultimately destroys him, so that's what I take inspiration from most with writing Jesse!
(As for the post-show standalone film centred around Jesse, El Camino - I watched it once, when it first came out on Netflix back in 2019. It was okay, I guess. I haven't rewatched it since; alas, I didn't find a very compelling coda to Breaking Bad. :( So, apart from the stuff with Todd, I don't include the El Camino part of Jesse's canon in my writing of him because I can't remember most of what happens in it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯And I haven't watched Better Call Saul yet, pls don't judge 🫣 but it IS on my to-watch list ok!!!! Once it's on a streaming platform that I can access/afford, that is, sighhh)
▹ What I enjoy writing: I love friction, drama, angst, hurt/comfort, unhealthy codependency themes, and storylines imbued with dark themes that explore character flaws and shortcomings. I love meaty, compelling storylines that are emotionally charged and character driven. I love coming up with ways to AU Jesse into other canon universes, just as much as I love finding ways to enmesh other canon universes into the world of Breaking Bad. My favourite settings are post-apocalyptic, gritty supernatural, superhero or magic urban settings (as examples: something inspired by The Boys, The Wolf Among Us or Jessica Jones), and criminal situations/settings, especially ones where Jesse is toeing a precarious line with law enforcement types. I find Jesse a very versatile character to fit into most situations and settings, so heck, I'm down for all kinds of possibilities! For casual crossover rp especially, I am also open to handwaving vague jam-jar settings for ease of bypassing having to work out crosscanon cr settings.
▹ Things I am usually v. happy to write if it comes up in a thread: Gore, graphic violence, blood, body horror, torture, kidnapping, imprisonment, graphic drug use, medical procedures, vomit (not as a kink, tho), psychological abuse/torture, most disturbing or graphic kinds of content. I'll write pretty much anything if the idea works for both my writing partner and myself, and our writing styles/goals mesh!
▹ Things I won't write/things I have no interest in writing: Graphic sexual assault (allusions to SA is fine, though, especially if it's part of your character's canon history), pure slice-of-life/pure fluff, "happily-ever-after" focused CR, sexual content involving characters under 17, the usual extreme kinks most people steer clear of. That's about it, though. I'll drop you a message if, for some reason, I'm not comfortable with a subject matter or the direction a thread is heading in. (And please, I invite you to do the same if ever you're not comfortable with or enjoying the direction a thread is taking. I am always wide open to reworking a thread or cr if it's going somewhere my writing partner isn't feeling.)
▹ Trigger warnings: I don't have any specific triggers, so no worries there. If there are any subject matters that you prefer to avoid writing/would prefer if the details were glossed over rather than written out, let me know.

║ TAGGING + OOC CONTACT DETAILS
▹ Tagging style: Prose preferred. My tags are usually 2-5 decent paragraphs. I'm not hugely into texting threads but I'll sometimes indulge in them for some light, silly fun.
▹ Tagging speed: Slow, usually. A tag once a day is what I like to aim for, but that's not often possible. :( I may drop out of dwrp altogether from time to time when offline life circumstances have to be prioritised. I am always super happy to pick threads back up where we left off, though! But I also totally get it and won’t take it personally if my tagging speed doesn’t work for you.
▹ Timezone: GMT+10 (AEST)/ GMT+11 (AEDT).
▹ OOC contact post: Here. All comments screened and will stay screened.
▹ Plurk: Shoot me a PM or a message at ooc contact post linked above for plurk handle. :)
